UGA Track and Field Complex Relocation

Project Quick Facts

About UGA Track and Field Complex Relocation:

This $59.8 million project is the addition of a new ground up track facility. The venue is 34,700 square feet and replaces the old track that was located on campus. The new complex has nine-lane, 400-meter running lanes, which is an additional lane from the old track. The infield of the track hosts long jump, triple jump, and pole vaulting. It seats 2,500 people and up to 4,000 people for certain events. The grandstands have a press box, observation deck, restrooms, and concessions. At the bottom of the grandstands there is a warm-up track, recovery space, and office areas. Responsibilities included maintaining close client contact, reviewing and transmitting field and laboratory reports, and maintaining daily communication with field and lab staff.
