The Hickory Street Pedestrian Bridge and Stair Tower is a newly constructed bridge that provides direct access to the Classic Center Arena. Future development plans include a new parking garage, and the pedestrian bridge will offer convenient and safe access for event attendees traveling between the garage and the arena. Construction of the stair tower included the installation of micropiles with rock sockets to create a stable foundation supporting the bridge as it spans Hickory Street. Hydro Engineers provided geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and special inspection services for the project.
