Geo‑Hydro Engineers provided construction materials testing, special inspections, and NPDES compliance services for The Jayne Multifamily project in Suwanee, Georgia. The development consists of a surface‑parked four‑ and five‑story wood‑framed split building with 211 residential units and a partial concrete podium. Services included subgrade evaluations and field density testing, foundation bearing surface evaluations for shallow foundations, and laboratory testing of structural fill and MSE wall materials. Geo‑Hydro performed observation and testing of reinforcing steel, post‑tensioned cables, concrete, masonry, and structural wood framing, as well as structural steel inspection and testing in accordance with applicable codes. Additional special inspections included sprayed fire‑resistive materials, firestop and fire‑resistive joint penetrations, and asphalt pavement testing. Geo‑Hydro supported the project through ongoing field coordination, documentation, and quality assurance for compliance, durability, and efficient construction.
