Geo–Hydro Engineers provided construction materials testing services and special inspections in support of Piedmont Henry Hospital’s new patient tower in Stockbridge, Georgia. This approximately $250 million expansion project represents a major investment in healthcare infrastructure for Henry County and the surrounding region. The multi–story tower adds new inpatient rooms, expanded operating suites, and supporting infrastructure to enhance the hospital’s capacity and ability to serve a growing community. Geo–Hydro’s scope included construction materials testing services and materials testing performed throughout site development and building construction. These efforts supported earthwork operations, and quality control activities. Geo–Hydro worked in coordination with the owner, design team, and construction partners as part of the broader project team. Scheduled to open in summer 2026, the Piedmont Henry patient tower demonstrates the collaborative planning and technical support required for large–scale healthcare construction projects.
